| When she's not at her Rocky Mountain Idaho base camp, internationally
award-winning photographer, Ilona, travels the world in search of the
photographic elixir of color, light, texture and form. Whether capturing fine
architecture, lush residential gardens, or remote mountain tops and seas,
her camera works overtime to push the transformation of image to art.
In 2005, Ilona’s book, Fleurish (Sasquatch Books), won a Lucie International Photography Award and garnered the praise of the Los Angeles Times. This year she received a Lucie International Photography Award for an article titled the Sweet Life on Beekeeping. GWA Media Award for her portfolio of garden images photographed in 2007; and Chasing Honey (Timber Press/Workman Books) is due for release in 2009.
